Who we are
‘We’ includes me, the plants I work with, and the shared spirit of Wildling Herbals.Cynthia Hartness
Certified Master Clinical HerbalistMy herbal journey began long before I ever had words for it. I was drawn in by plants and the natural world, by the quiet pull of green things growing and thriving on their own terms. The more I learned, the more I realized just how vast herbalism truly is, and how much there is to continually discover.
My approach to plant medicine is deeply holistic. When we meet, it’s not just about symptoms or a checklist of concerns, it’s about getting to know you. Your body, your energy, your rhythms all matter. Simply naming a need and offering a popular solution can only take us so far. Turmeric may be well-known for easing inflammation, but is it truly the right plant for your body? And what else might be asking for attention beneath the surface?
Creating custom blends is where my heart lives. Beyond their constituents, each plant carries its own energy and personality, and I’ve spent years getting to know them as allies. Thoughtfully pairing the right plant energy with your body’s unique needs allows for deeper, more balanced support—and often, the most meaningful results.

Herbalism doesn’t have to be complicated or reserved for times of illness.
It can be woven gently into everyday life as a way to support the body, mind, and spirit. Simple practices like starting your morning with a nourishing tea, adding herbs to meals, or reaching for a plant ally during times of stress create small, meaningful moments of care throughout the day.At Wildling, we encourage slowing down and reconnecting with the earth, choosing gentle plant support alongside modern life rather than replacing it.
By building a relationship with plants and learning how they support you personally, herbalism becomes less about “treating” and more about returning to a rhythm that feels natural, supportive, and deeply human.
